I thought they werent allowed but I also think i rememebr hearing somewhere that they were allowed up to a certain size. I am only talking about a can of shaving foam and a deodrant aerosol...

Those are both fine for check ins. Just put them in ziplock bags though because the can leak during the changes in pressure. I usually recommend taking toiletry items on board in your carry on. The main reason is the cabin is pressurized and you wont have to worry about leaking. Secondly if your checked bag is delayed or fails to be loaded, you will have all of your main necessaties with you incase it is a day or over night before your baggage arrives to you.

Yeah they're allowed. I had my laptop as a carry-on with compressed air, alcohol spray, and an extra battery. I don't know how to make explosives but that surely would have done it.
