Of course....my g/f has a daughter that played soccer for 10 yrs and she has HUGE thighs from all of the running!

If you start young, definitely.

If you start after puberty, when your body has already more or less shaped itself, I think you can get muscle mass at specific locations, depending on the sport. The skeleton will not be influenced much, as will happen with children, I think.

You use a general set of muscles - so it'll shape your body to a certain degree. But there has been shown that tennisplayers, for instance, don't have less fat on right arm - so pinpointing one muscle-group is not likely.

oh well i hope so cuz im playing basketball and im gonna sign up for a league next year and i hope it will shape me up cuz i dont want to look fat but yeah i think it does

i am not an expert or anything, but yes, i believe it does. might make u more muscular and less curvy...depending on the sport...
