In some countries -- mostly those under Islamic law -- polygamy is legal only for men. That is, a man can marry usually up to 4 women, as long as he can support them all. But women can only marry one man at a time.
In most Western countries multiple marriages are illegal for men and women, but there's nothing to stop people living together in a polygamous fashion -- but only the first wife or husband would be recognised in law, as next of kin etc.

There isn't any law that's anyone from being polygamous.. but! its more of a moral value type thing, most women are happy to share their lives just one man. others have secret affairs which is a kind of polygamy. in the end its down to the individual and the other people involved.. and
So if you can stand being seen has THAT SORT OF WOMAN, then do wot your hearts tells you too..
oh and have fun doing it...

Most laws do not tolerate polygamy like democracies. Except in some like Islamic states, where a married man can marry another girl or girls if he can support them. They have a choice even not to have children if you want.
