I want to put a melody to this......
-Qur'an, Al-Isra, Surah 17:43-44
Will you allow me? I love the message. And everytime I find meaningful messages, I immediately compose its melody... Coz for me, music is the food for the soul. Amen.
Thank you :)

Ok, I will not put a melody then. That is why I am asking permission. Now I know. I will just keep this meaningful message in my wallet as my daily guide.
Thanks and please, don't get mad at me.

music is allowed in islam. but may be saying Quran's surah with music wont be a good idea. u can say the verses in a melody without using music, somewhat like reciting it in a good melodious way. like i have seen some of elder women use to recite quran with a very sweet tone. u also must have listened them reciting.

It is true that "DAPHLI" is allowed in Islam and that the the people in Madina wre singing and playing music but to add music to the Quran,, you would have to consult some Islamic Scholars.
I think they can guide you more well than anyone here.

Glory to God; let God be praised. He is high above all falsehood. The seven heavens, the earth below, and all which live on the earth and in the heavens, give glory to God. All creatures praise him--except some men and women, who do not understand his glory. God is benign and forgiving.

Stoutly scholarly folks will condemn any musical instrument except those permitted by the Sunnah, i.e. drums. If you can do it with just drums, you should be fine.
