No!
Some people go to church ... some are even Christened or Baptised ... but the actions of the few do NOT make the nation! Some British people go to their temple, or mosque ... but that doesn't make any difference either..!
Basically it depends on your personal definition of a Christian Nation.
If giving presents at Yule-tide (or Christmas as some people call it) is sufficient - then yes, Britain is a Christian Nation!
But if you think it means that more than half the people of the country actually BELIEVE in the Christian teachings, God, and bible, and actually go to church frequently - then NO, Britain is NOT a Christian Nation...! (This is MY definition BTW!)
Incidentally, the Church of England is a divorce-based religion. It may pay lip-service to Christianity, but it was only created so that the monarchs of England didn't have to obey some bloke in the Vatican...!

Firstly, the name of the nation is the United Kingdom of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland or just the UK. Great Britain is the name of an island. Secondly, its supposed to be a secular nation, but its laws are based on Protestant Christian morality, and most people from there would probably say that its a Christian country. But they have Jewish people, Muslims, Buddhists, Pagans, Wiccans, Druids, Hindus, Sikhs, Rastafarians, Atheists &c &c. The name of the game is religious freedom, which is enshrined in British law.
Sdbiologist, do you know anything at all? There are four countries which make up the UK. England is but one of the four. Anglicanism is not the official state religion of Scotland, Wales nor Northern Ireland. Your idea is so 19th century. It's now the 21st Century.

the Throne of David continued as prophecied and is the Throne of the United Kingdom.
Jeremiah the prophet took Scota, who was a princess of the Davidic Line when Judah (and Jerusalem) were taken captive by the Babylonians.
jeremiah snuck her through egypt to the British Isles and Scotland.
The Stone of Scone - the rock which Jacob layed his head on when he saw the ladder of Heaven - was brought with Scota and every monarch of England is crowned over the stone to this day.
PS this is the real source of the conflicts of Braveheart - who was rightful heir to the Davidic Throne. The Scots stole the Stone back in the 1960s right out of the coronation throne - but eventually gave it back - in Scotland.

Thankfully, Great Britain is every bit as secular as the United States. The religious may have a loud voice there as here, but they do not meaningfully contribute to social progress in the UK any better than they do in the US.
