Let me ask you a question?
Do you like your vacations? Is there anything that you have done that makes you feel joyous and very happy?
If the answer to all these questions is Yes then you are forgiven the nervousness about school.
If the answer is No, then your nervousness has to be looked at anew.
School is what Life is about. As a child and a newborn your family is the first society. As a youngster of 5+ you are ready to be a member of the society where each and every beinng counts. This is the theatre which shapes and moulds you. You are not unlike a stalk of sugarcane which is ripened and is ready to yield sugar.
Did you know that the sugarcane is squeezed and twisted. It is contorted and made to pulp so that the juice is extracted completely. Just think of yourself as the stalk of sugarcane. You learn the art of giving. Give because the person who receives is a soul who is God. When you do so in full faith and belief, you are filled with happiness and bliss, which is what Love Is.
That is why school is an important part of life.
You chose Life and wanted your mother father brother sister to make your adventure possible. The choices and the selection are all completely and totally made by you.
Nervous. Still the nerves my dearest one. Sing dance go out into the garden and know that you are a child of God and have so much to Give. Go to school and be the pride of your class.
We will pray to see that nothing stops you from success and happiness at every step!
To joy adventure fun frolic and of course learning and scholastic highs!! Bravo!!

i am also nervous about going back. But i will be a senior in high school, so this year i have to start thinking about college and if i will be moving out when i turn 18 in March. Im not sure how old you are or what year you will be in, but i know that despite how nervous you might be now everything will be fine. Obvously you have gone through the first day of school before right? Just think of how every year things get better with time, you make new friends, you get used to classes, you end up having fun. And if none of this helps just think of me sweating the first day of school because of everything coming at me so fast, and be happy you aren't facing college in a year (at least i don't think you are).

This is a new school year and a new cahnce for you to be anybody that you want to be. Try a new look. Maybe a new attitude is in order. Make a new friend and perhaps add them to your group or join theirs.
Gofer it!

Read the book, The Relaxation Response. It is scientifically valid, and may help you be less nervous.

There`s nothing to be scared about, its all in the mind!.
Do something to divert the fear or face it directly and you`ll find out that there`s nothing to be afraid about after all.

We all have to go through schooling to be part of society.
Deal with it, make it so, and be done with it.
We all had to do it at some point, so stop whining.
