Can doctors diagnose themself?

And if mentally ill are they legally allowed to diagnose others? Or would their outlook be different than the average doctor? Does it matter how severe their condition is? If it is minor is it exceptionable or can they be sued if something goes wrong?

if you had this happen ask a lawyer, not us. i really dont know how bad it has to have been for you to be on solid legal ground
