And indeed. to sustain the pump action(s) electrical impulses are periodically generated in the heart from a self exciting system (a very sophosticated one which becomes excited by itself).

Ceasation of "pump action" (or "heartbeats") may indicate clinical death.

ofcourse but it does not rerquire electricity to run and never stop till we die.
