.....die? I'm a Buddhist and I believe in reincarnation. For all you Buddhists out there, where do you think we'll go after we die? How long do you think before we reincarnate into another life? Few months? Few years? Do you think maybe your past life's family (or extended family) is still alive on this earth, living somewhere else while you're living here? If so, how can you find them?

I know these are weird questions, but hey, someone's gotta ask 'em right? ;)

OK thanks for the answers, but don't think this is all I do all day, because it's not. Just random thoughts that enter my mind. I'm not worried or anything. I just am curious in nature.

I don't believe time is linear when we are talking reincarnation. I think I already had future lives.

I am not Buddhist but do believe in what they believe.

Whether there are Atheists, Agnostics or Believers (of any religion) I think we would be hard pressed not to agree that whatever or whoever created us (that includes Science) did a pretty special job.

We humans on cannot deny that the greatest gift/blessing that we have is "LOVE" in all its forms. What a dull and boring life it would without it.

Love does not die - some might say it does - but if after giving us this gift - why then would all be lost when we die. It does not make sense to me.

I believe in re-incarnation and I would hope that there would be a period of time before we took up our next lifetime, maybe that depends on how far up the spiritual level we are.

I believe that our family members and friends are somewhere close by, whether as they were in our previous lives, but in some way connected to us.

We all find each other, have you ever noticed that very close rapor you have with people where you feel that you have known them forever? If you have, maybe you have found them.
Dont forget also that we are on a conscious level and when we are in our subconscious level maybe then we meet up again.

Whatever one believes we shouldn't knock it - we should not judge people by our own standards and beliefs - be happy for those of us that believe in something which gives us peace of mind and a reason to live.

Weird, but as you say, someones gotta ask and someones gotta answer - right?

whats the point? if you truly believe youre going to reincarnate and forget everything, why waste time on such a belief? truly, if you are going to really actually reincarnate, what if you come back 20 years later as a pastor of a large church in the south? or a balluga whale? you surely wont give a ding dong dang about reincarnation then. reincarnation is the stupidest human invention since the beginning

It sounds like you are a little scared about dying. Are you not knowledgable about your religion? You know, the Eight Fold Path? The That Behind All That? Don't you attend a monastery and have a teacher there?

Or are their answers not satisfactory to you?

Where's Buddah anyway. If reincarnation is true, is it possible to find out where he went?

Reincarnation is not about Buddhism. It is fundamentals of life. Once, we experience the being in us, we 'know' and not merely 'believe' due to following any religion. And such blind belief leads nowhere ! Buddhism too has wonderful techniques which helps to really experience for oneself about life within. Once this happens, we know what will happen before and after this body of ours.
Where we go and when depends upon the accumulated desires !

You go either to hell or heaven. That depends on whether God's grace falls upon you. Reincarnation is not true, the devil just made it up to suit his twisted mind into fooling people who'll believe anything.

I think you get a choice...reincarnation, or the afterlife of hell or heaven. I'm choosing Hell. Got to be better than this place. I certainly don't want to do this all over again.

My answer: Six feet under, where we become at one with the environment as our flesh and bones feed the ecosystem. It the next step in our evolution and its own kind of reincarnation (life from death).
