Any one out there have a similar credit score and successfully opened a personal loan? If so, who did you open it with and for what amount? Im lookin at $5,000.

You might try with the bank that you do your regular banking with or try a credit union. Open an account with them and then try for a loan.
You might also try with Citifinancial.
You didn't really specify if you have alot/a few baddies on your reports, if you never had credit before and you are building up etc so those are just a few options you may have..

HSBC is pretty agressive regarding personal loans with lower FICO scores. The rates isnt going to be the greatest though.
