i just bought a scanner from a friend and her boyfriend took all the disks for installing. How do i install without it?

my scanner is a Mustek 1200 UB
i found a manufacturer disk for it but it wont let me open the pics i scan on messenger please help

Quite often if you are running windows XP then the drivers most likely are already there. Just plug in the scanner and follow the directions. If you are ruining another OS then go to the web site and get the drivers. If it is new and you bought it then tell the dealer to give them to you. Free of course.

if you have windows 2000 or XP then most times the drivers are already loaded all you have to d ois follow the installation wizard if not you can always go to the manufacture's web site and do a search for drivers and download from there.

you cannot install it without the manufactured disks.All you got to do is to get the disks back on your hands and dont let them go..

its free for registring. through that you can download your device driver
