I grew up with a tight knit family, always gettin together for family functions and holidays. We are considering a move cross because we love the area and we are looking forward to a fresh start, but really, thats the only reason. If we move, we are taking our children away from their aunts, unlces, cousins and grandchildren. I am sad that they will miss out on that. Should we stay?

Embrace high tech: have all these family members wire into Yahoo Messenger. When you settle in, contact them all....YM has a pretty cool videochat feature. So you and the kids can video link w/ the grandparents and all other family.

I videolink w/ my aunt in Maine: we think YM is heaven sent.

No. Moving out doesn't mean lessen tight knit family relationship, who knows it might turn up the other way round & at the same time enjoy a frest start of everything.

Whatever it is.. you should go with your feeling.. it can't go wrong. :)

Good Luck!
