My nephew was killed by someone right behind his house. The person ran him down and backed up over him and left. I and the police have been questioning people, but no one knows what happen. But the guy that was with him said he saw him get into the car. This guy told my sister-law what happen, but she isn't talking to the police. If she does know the truth can she get on trouble for holding it?

Yes. It's called witholding information or evidence from the police. Besides, the right thing to do is tell the police.

You should ask yourself why would she not be cooperating in the first place? Anyway, just tell the police about this and they will take care of it. Murder cases are taken extremely seriously, more than most people could ever imagine. They will bring her in and let her know that she will be going to prison for a long time unless she tells the truth.
