everyone always advises me that when i like a guy i should tell him my true feelings but i did that once and it just made everything complicated...besides when a guy knows u like him he thinks he can have u and doesn't want u anymore, i did that a couple times actually not just once...never again...

Remember you have only had this experience a couple of times. There is always a risk when you tell someone how you feel, you are leaving yourself vulnerable and laying all your cards on the table... however, you may never know how he truly feels unless you do so. The only guys that would stop wanting you are
A. Too immature to handle themselves
B. Not interested to begin with
A good thing to do is to try to find out if he is interested in you before you approach him. Does he act interested? Does he have friends that may let you know? Most guys who are interested in you will be even more interested once they know how you feel, and probably impressed that you took the initiative and told them how you felt. If you don't know for sure they are interested, I say go for it! Carpe diem, sieze the day. Life is short, you only live once, and all the good stuff. Worst case scenario, he isn't interested in you, but what if he really is but is too shy to say anything, or is waiting to know how you feel about him. Bottom line: You'll never know for sure unless you try.

Maybe you told him too much of your feelings all at once and scared them off. Just let them know bit by bit.

Do not open with anyone very fast , let these happen slowly its natural way , do not rush things , don't do over showing off , be your self , behave naturally , time will certainly blessed you with more happiness .
