Because people are scared of the reality of there lives, so like when you’re a little kid and you make up a little friend, you know the one that dose not really exist. Yea that’s god for grownups. Instead of admitting we don’t know what happens after death, we arrogantly made god.

That's a most interesting question. Belief in a god or gods seems to be a persistant part of life.
Why is that?
Could it be that some part of us recognizes an intelligence behind all that we see and we call that god?
...or consider the unlikely idea that billions of people are simply wrong.

Hmm... well, in this day and age,...ya gotta confess. We're living in troubled times. And, well, believing in a being that , one assumes, can perform miracles and is a quick-fix for all the problems faced in life, as long as you believe in it, is a pretty beneficial thing. It sort of takes some of the worry off your mind if you assume, oh....god will sort it out.
Also, God has been used as a sort of "Disciplinarian", i.e. if one sins, or thinks about sinning, God will punish said person. So, this discouraged people from ....well...duh....sinning!!!

God is our creator. We believe in him because he created us. He made us in his own image. I believe in God because I know of the mircles he has performed in my life. I know that God is my personal savior and I cant wait to get to heaven so I can sit by my masters feet. Glory to God.

Because he is why we are all here..Read the bible..that is the true information on how we should live..it would save us from alot of heartache if we (myself) included followed it..Look around you who do you think made the sky, the grass, trees, just look around and you will see his work!! I mean look at my lips..only the man above could create these.. :)

Because it's better to think there is more to life and a purpose for our existence, than to live like nothing matters. It gives me something to look forward to.

because they don't believe in them self, they ignore they are an inseparable part of the universe. They freak out instead of sharing their divine part.
