We believe in Paradise and Hell. Paradise is the abode of enjoyment which God, the Exalted, prepared for the righteous. The blessing they enjoy there, no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard of, and no human being has ever imagined: "No soul knows what comfort is kept hidden for them, as a reward for that which they used to do." (32:17) Hell is the abode of punishment which God has prepared for the unbelievers and the evildoers. The torture and horror in it cannot be imagined
without it, God would not be the Just and Wise and merciful God He is. God created men and made them responsible for their actions; some behaved well but others did not. If there is no future life in which the virtuous are rewarded and the vicious are punished, there would be no justice and the creation of men in that way and the sending of Prophets to them would be to no purpose at all. But this kind of behaviour is not expected of a man known to be rational and just, let alone the Perfect Creator.
Without belief in this Day on which everyone will receive his just deserts (when the wrongdoers are justly punished and the righteous are rewarded bountifully), man would lose the impetus to behave fairly towards others and the oppressed would grow hopeless and miserable.
Belief in the Hereafter is an essential element that helps to control human delinquency and establish collective happiness and virtues in society.

I don't know but there is Life Now...
but some people act like they are half (or more) dead already.
I would spend less time worrying about life after death and worry about life here and now. If we all payed attention to the here and now and to life and living for each other and caring for each other we could make this a heaven on earth.

Yes, there is life after death. There will be two choices of where to spend eternity. The one that I choose is with God. The other is away from God.
There are many people who have been clinically dead and then they are revived. They all seem to tell the same thing. I have read a book about this "Beyond Death's Door".
The way to spend eternity with God, is to choose to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and follow Him. God sacrificed Him for our sins to take our place so that we can live forever with Him and have life after death..

I believe that we may reborn as humans depending on good wholesome actions that we have done in previous births.
Thermodynamically speaking, this loosely ties in with the Law of Conservation of Energy in :
"Energy cannot be created nor destroyed, only transformed from one form to another." Matter and energy are interchangeable.
But I think the main question for most people is whether the human soul can be reincarnated as another form? Well this may take the form of our offspring.
There are a number of articles written on the subject and you may find the links in the references section helpful (but a little heavy-going at times).
It will be interesting to see what other people think.

Yes. The Bible says it is appointed unto man to die once, and after that - judgment. You can't be judged if there is no life after death. If you have trusted Christ as your Savior you have nothing to worry about. Your sins have been washed away. John 3:16 says For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

To the really religious and spiritual person this question is irrelavent. Good for discussion but nothing beyond that, a spiritual person has no need to know what happens after death.

There is and there will be. It is a continuum which started when separated from the whole and was embodied birth after birth, and will continue till it mingles with the very source from where it has emanated, through a process of evolution comprising cycle of births.
