A romantic is someone in a dating situation focuses on the feelings going on between you and your partner and derives pleasure from the those feelings of making themselves and thier partner happy.Love making is a part of Romance but not the goal.A non-romantic person focusus on the endpoint(getting into someone's pants) as oppersed to the romantic who focuses on the jouney along the way to that same endpoint.

To me, to be a romantic means I am creative in my expressions of love. I believe that I am romantic. I enjoy coming up with fun and surprising ways of loving.

Women and life have beaten me down to a level where romance no longer has any meaning. To put in an un-appreciated effort or one that is short lived seems somewhat useless.

The thought of wasting my time, money, energy, trying to please someone makes me choke on my own vomit.

Perhaps some day a nice women will ask me out, pick me up and pay for dinner and a movie. If she is really nice, i will allow her to buy me a huge expensive rock, get on her knees and beg me to marry her. Then, I MIGHT think about romance. Until that happens........well, now you know how we feel don't you?

for me romantic means being sensitive, pay attention to details, bring roses, send a card, etc, but being romantic not always pays, not all girls appreciate it or deserve it. i had bad experiences so my heart hardened and become cautious or mean.
