I have heard of this before, as a matter of fact, our oldest didn't start getting the teeth coming down, until after a year old. However, there should be some signs of teething? If not, then maybe you want to get a pediatric dentist, who specializes with kids, and take some x-rays(which are harmless, make sure radiation coat is used over your child)on the mouth and see if the teeth are up in there. The dentist will be able to tell if they'll be coming down and pushing the gums open, soon. There's lots to think about with babies, toddlers, kids, and just hang in there. You're being a good parent by showing you are worried about the teeth and all. Good luck! I'm sure things will be fine but best to get an experienced professional opinion. : )

Yes, my daughter is 2 1/2 and still does not have all her teeth. She has most of them but some are still missing. The doctor always told me not to worry that they would come in and they did. She had only four teeth until she was 22 months old and then they all started to come out. Every child is different. I know how you feel I was really worried too but all turned out well.

Thats actually a good thing.. The long the teeth stay in there. The healthier they are. My son didnt get teeth til a month after he turned one.. and now he is 15 months and has four teeth out and four more popping out. So dont worry.. Its ok.

It's perfectly normal, don't worry. My daughter was almost one when she got her first tooth and OVER one before she got hair LOL. Just think of it this way- she will have the prettiest smile in first grade because all of the other children will have lost some teeth by then! The later they come in, the later they come out. If you're really worried, talk to her dentist. He/she can do x-rays to see just how the teeth are coming along and ease your worrying.

It's pretty normal for her! My daughter didn't get teeth until she was 15 months old & she lost them later than normal, too. She has beautiful teeth! Same with my niece. It runs in the family.

don't worry. it's normal.
i got a friend whose 2 kids have their 1st teeth at 15 months! after that, they kept teething until full at the age of 2yrs+.

normally, a baby start teething at around six months and complete the full set at around 2 and a half yrs.
so, don't worry! you still have 18 months to go.

my baby is now 19 months. 4 tooth came out during this month.

take it easy...!

my son was almost 1 1/2 before he had any teeth. the longer they don't have any, the longer the baby teeth last. he didn't loose is first tooth until the beginning of 2nd grade.

Sometimes teeth take a long time to come in, but they eventually will. Don't worry!
