This is an open ended question because so many things have to be considered when choosing a shampoo and conditioner i.e. your type of hair ( straight, curly, course, fine); your ethnicity (white, black, bi-racial) and what you consume, are you on medication, do you workout a lot, etc. Tread cautiously. Quite a few products are being re-formulated for hair of bi or multi racial individuals, relaxed hair and color treated hair etc. Sorry if I did not help, but good luck. My advise is to find a good professional salon, (maybe a local JC Penney Salon) pay good money for good results.

I have noticed a big improvement in my own hair recently. It looks very shiny and my hair stylist said commented on that a few days ago. I give the most credit to a hair drier I got as a gift a few months back. I swear by it. It is called Ionic Conditioning by Sharper Image, it really conditions your hair as you dry it and even the air that comes out is noticably softer. If you use a hair drier that is.

I love Dove for lightened hair, the shampo, conditioner, and mask make my hair smell great, feel very soft and have tons of volume. I like all dove shampoos.

have 2 or 3 kinds on hand .switch up everyday. one day use brand A. the next day use brand B etc. I found out that if you use the same kind day in and day out your hair wont look or feel that great so I switch up and my hair is looking better.Do not use cheap stuff.you also need to find a brand you like .
