Hey,
The best way to tell is to just lift up their tail. If it's a girl it should have 2 holes pretty close together, if it's a boy the 2 holes will be quite a bit further apart, you can feel if it's a boy by feeling around the scrotum area and seeing if it has any testicles, the boys will also poke their penis out if you fiddle around in that area to much.

How old is the kitten? You can look at its bottom and if there is little spacing between the anal and urinary openings then its female. If there is a bit of a gap between the openings then its a male and the testicles just haven't dropped yet.

turn the cat around, if you see an exclamation point upside down it's a girl. If not, you've got a boy!

try & gently flip the cat over!!spread its back legs not to far it will hurt them and if it has alot of hair try to push it aside just to have a little peek!!if there is little nubs (balls) it a boy!!if you see no balls its a girl!!if your cat is not letting you flip them over take them to a vet and they will tell you!!

How old? after a couple months you will be able to tell. Watch for the little ummm sack.

look between the legs by the butt. there are going to be 2 lumps. if they are far away from each other its a girl. if they are close its a boy. ive never guessed wrong!

If your cat is old enough, you should see 2 marbles for the male. if he is neutered, you still see the sacs.

Well, I heard if they have something that looks like an exclamation point...you have a little boy. If they have something like a semi colon..you have a little girl.
