It can work. My mom is from Arkansas and my dad is from michigan. We lived in arkansas for 12 years and the last 8 years we have lived in Michigan. We have had many Arkansas-Michigan trips over the Years, now we don't even need a map to get there. Good luck to you! Oh and ask him if he is a Razorback fan! Go Hogs!

See, you are in love with yourself. It is normal cause most people are. The problem is, when you meet him he will not be you. If your only attraction to him is your commonalities then that is not enough to sustain a relationship. But, you have a good basis for a relationship, so the quicker you two can meet the better your chances. The more you get it all out online the less there will be to get out in person and you may end up sitting in front of each other with nothing to say. I would suggest a "picture" and a meeting place if you think the guy is worth it. Otherwise keep talking to him and have your relationship be completely virtual but not go any further.

Holly, you hear all the time about people internet dating, I personally think that its great. The only concern is if the guy you are talking to is really the guy you think he is. I am sure if you have been talking to him for a while, and he's seemed fairly consistant, then go for it and meet him.... Why haven't you guys exchanged pictures? Place a face to all those chats you two have shared! Just be careful when you meet him, but when you do, I think your connection that you've made from the net will make conversation really easy for you. Thats awesome that you've found someone!

it is normal.... but u might want to see what he looks like.. sounds shallow.. but there always has to be some type of physical attraction there... and people are always different on the phone and online then in person... my ex and i would talk on the phone and then when we would hang out it felt different i dont know why... but meet him somehow (public place of course)... and see how it goes... if u find urself falling for him.. maybe bring it to the next level... but you'll never know if hes mr. right.. or mr. right now if u dont meet him

Proceed with caution. It is normal for you to have good feelings for someone you have chatted with on several occasions. However, NOTHING takes the place of seeing someone face-to-face, hearing the person's voice, learning their habits, meeting their friends and family members and developing the understanding and trust of a personal relationship over an extended period of time. On line, someone can misrepresent themselves if they wish to do so. PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

that is normal but it is a big risk. I enjoy meeting new people but watching the news, you hear of these online predators that make you want to reconsider the risk you would be taking. No one can tell you what to do when the moment arises, but just be extra careful!!! people are not always what they seem...and thats a risk in itself when we have to be the ones to discover it.
