Swallowing shows guys that you're kinda kinky & you want to take as much of them in as possible. Spitting projects the image that you're rejecting them, as if they're disgusting. It's along the lines of a woman initiating sex & having the guy say no. It's not a good feeling.

In some cultures, it is seen as a waste of life and energy for a man to spill his seed on the ground. In Christianity - this is a taboo reffered to as ONANISM.
Most men who insist the woman swallow the semen (and I'm one of them) probably recieve intense sexual excitement from knowing that their woman is willing to swallow them. It may be a Freudian sado-masochist pleasure.
I personally feel more appreciated by a woman who loves and trusts me enough to swallow my semen.
Semen contains protein, zinc and fructose sugar. It is actually rather nutrional for women because of this. There really are no adverse affects to swallowing healthy semen except an aftertaste - but then again, alot of foods and drinks give you an aftertaste right?

I've tried to figure it out too. I just don't get it. I mean, what's the point, but oh well. I actually find the whole thing a bit sick, but if I really adore the guy I'd probably be willing to do it if he absolutely wants me to. =)

that's not required and should not be asked unless your boyfriend is a freak. women with self respect won't do what they don't want to.
