Either get RAM chips of 512mb or download these FREE softwares search from Yahoo.
- "Ad-Aware SE Personnel" (Free Version) - This is to get rid of those sticky cookies that slows down your PC unnecessarily & rid of potential hackers. (Can be updated for free.)
- "Cleanup!" (yes, search WITH the exclamation mark). - This is to get rid of unnecessary temporary files in your pc. I'm sure there'll be a LOT to clean when you run it the first time. Make sure it finishes cleaning up and the button that says 'Close' appears clickable. **MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD the 3.1 latest version if you're using Windows XP Home Edition. The version 4 has got some problems. It's meant for windows 2000 or Windows XP Professional version.
Hope this helps. It's been running on my pc for about 2 years now. Please run Ad-Aware & Cleanup respectively at least twice a week to keep your PC free of any bugs and also free up some space to make it run faster. I run it once in two days as I surf alot.
