I myself and most guys I know traditionally prefer long hair on the ladies. But there are exceptions. The fad now seems to be shorter hair, but 7 times out of 10, long is better.

It would depend on the shape of your face and such.
Long hair looks great on others, while short hair looks better on someone else. Just depends on what YOU look good in, not what IS IN style. If long curly locks is in style, but it looks aweful on you, would you want to keep it? I know I wouldnt. I go for what works with my facial features and the shape of my face.
