So now, after a year I still some times get sad about not getting in. how do I for get about the army? It is hard for me to watch movies, read books, and listen to music be cause as soon as these a battle scene or a war song I instant think about being in the army which ether makes me very depressed or very pissed for at least an hour to a day or two. Who would this happen and how do I stop being so stupid?

WWII --There are men who felt the same way about not getting to participate in the actual" Over There" War. They are still Veterans that deserve the recognition of The Will To Participate. They were not as strict about some of the fibs told to get in. Now it's tougher. There are plenty of things to do on the Home front. Just ask.

I want to join the military....but I can't. I have a record of something (personal) so there's no way I can join but being dishonest, in which I intent not to be. Although I may be able to distroy my records before I turn 18, or have a recruiter take care of it, there still is a chance I may not be able to join. I haven't really been into a lot of army stuff since I found out. I can't watch movies, listen to music, etc without being thinking of that either. What I learned to do was to just not think about it. Ofcourse, that's hard to do, because your being reminded of it. But as soon as it pops in your mind, you have to just let it go. Think about something else that very instant. It's a process. It may take awhile, but you should start to see an improvement.
Set another goal for your life. What's the next thing you've always wanted to do? Go for it. You can't let something like this in life bother you so much. You have to learn and accept the fact that you may not always be able to do all you wanted. It's just life. People go through it everyday. Just try not to let it get to you so much.

It sounds like you really really wanted to be a soldier. So, whats stopping you now? Can't you go and join now? I always believed in chasing your dreams. Is it really that impossible? Maybe join something similar if this is impossible. Like the navy or cadets or something. I don't know how old you are or where you live, so, I can't really say. But, I would look into it a little more, don't give up so easily! Good luck!

When God closes a door He opens a window. If you have a desire to serve there are many ways that can be achieved other than being a soilder. In terms of how it makes you feel, you must forgfve yourself. You are not prefect. However, understand that it was not meant to be, let it go and look for another dream. When you do you will understand that it was part of the journey.

What do you want to go and kill somebody for?
I would suggest you set your sights on something that is more attainable. Say, the president of the USA. Then you could be the boss of the whole service.

I don't know why it's happening to you, but I am shocked that you would get mad over not being in when you lied to get in.

Lying is not honorable in any true soldier's book.

You're lucky you weren't court martialed.

I suggest that you go to the recruiter and tell him/her your whole story. They might let you join. You can always be in the volunteer army.
