Hmmm... not sure. I don't really know you. Check out my 360 and message me from there if you want to. I am also quitting smoking, as of yesterday. (For good this time!) Good luck and health.

Here's a list of five reasons why you should quit. You can add more, then put it where you'll see it daily:
1) Expensive (smokers spend an average of $878,000 on cigs over their lifetimes--including interest had they saved that same money!)
2) Health reasons---you'll live longer.
3) Tobacco smoke contains over 400 known dangerous chemicals.
4) Health insurance costs more for smokers.
5) You create a health hazard for those around you.
(I'm an ex-smoker who smoked 2+ packs/day for over 25 years. I quit cold-turkey the day my wife had a heart attack---smoking related!).
You can quit. You have the desire. Look at it this way: if you smoke two packs a day, that equals a car payment of $279/mo.
You drive an old beater? If you quit, you could buy a brand new car.

Firstly, it will pass, I can assure you. It's a pretty horrible feeling and takes a while even to realise that it is a result of not smoking, but it will pass in time. (A matter of weeks in fact). High level anxiety is the right word and it definitely results in shorter temper, inability to concentrate for any length of time without getting agitated and yeah, nervousness and worry (possibly paranoia to a degree). Very difficult to sleep too and it feels like you wanna sit bolt upright every few minutes because there's so much buzzing go on.... not very nice, I know. But it will pass, hang in there, it will start to feel better in as little as another week or two, honestly. If you want to see a doctor for any legal drugs you can have it wouldn't hurt I guess, but to be honest, it's probably best not to. Not sure how fit you are but extra exercise helps a lot, it will help you sleep too and ease those shakes. I started swimming and running at the time and that helped me. Glass of wine doesn't hurt either but try not to substitute one thing for another and rely on it. It’s hard but the most important thing to do is realise what it is that's causing it and remember that when you feel the worst. (I have no idea about the medical / biological side of withdrawal of this substance and it doesn’t matter at all) – you know that’s all that’s happening and it will soon get better. I know sometimes you feel like you want to just run from yourself or the physical and mental feelings you are having, or slam your head into a wall to stop the buzzing, but just know it will soon be over. Try and occupy your mind as I said with exercise, reading, whatever. It will feel a lot better soon. Take care, all the best !!

Don't think anybody needs to send you a daily reminder. Let me give you a tip. I've smoked for many years. I had a heart attack and went back to smoking within a month. If you want to kill yourself then keep smoking. To put it plain and simple, it's an early death. I'm addicted to smoking just as a drug addict is addicted to drugs. I would hurt someone if they tried to take my cigarettes away from me. Remember my comment the next time you want a cigarette. Your digging yourself an early grave.

Talk to your doctor about Chantix. It is a new product by Pfizer, that comes in a pill form, and thay have a complete support group over the phone and web that you can contact at no cost anytime. You take Chantix for 12-24 weeks, depending on your success, and most of the cost is covered by almost all insurance providers, including medicare and medicaid. It has a great success rate! Check out the website at www.Chantix.com. Good Luck!

Set up daily reminders through your Yahoo account. You can set it up through Yahoo Calendar, add a new event, and have it repeat daily. It sends you whatever email you want to say. If you don't have Yahoo email, set up your account today.

Every time you buy them, tell yourself "you don't need that" and buy only what you need. When someone offers you a ciggy-butt just think "you don't need that". This phrase can be your daily reminder. After all, what you need for good health isn't toxic.
