Europe will go into the tournaments being underdogs. The bookies will always go with the yanks.
However, if Monte can produce what he usually does in this tournament then that will be a great help. Sergio and M.A.J. will always cause opponents problems, as will Clarke. Bjorn and Harrington could be the stars of the cup (I believe). Unfortunately I think the bloody English lads will do what the English do best and screw it up. Donald, Westwood, Casey etc don't deserve to be in the team as they all choke when it come to important moments.
The Americans have the dream team of Tiger and Big Phil.
They have some of the more experienced professionals like Fuyrick and Duval who can match anybody on their day.
Also, Di Marco will want to make a lasting impression.
To sum up America will probably just pip Europe because they have more quality players and because England unfortunately is part of Europe.

With the strength of Tiger's game right now, Phil's strength in these type of competions, Furyk's solid play week after week, along with Chris DiMarco, and others... I think the U.S. has an excellent chance of bringing home the cup. The cup isn't until September, but the American's look pretty strong this year.
Thanks,
Don

Tiger will win the Open Championship for the third time at St. Andrews. he's unstoppable there and he will of course be back for it. i like united states of america to win it. i think of the individuals are turning out to be lots greater helpful. and as for the 2010 Masters i will take Steve Stricker. gotta have the means to putt there and no one is greater helpful than stricker.

It seems that the Europeans just have a knack for winning this competition, so the 'smart $' will still be with them.

I reckon the USA will win.
Or if not them, then I'd back Europe.
