How about citizens arrest? Most states still have this law. Do you think it might be a way to eliminate some of the criminal trespassers amongs us? I do not know much about it but I am willing to gain any knowledge on this subject.

Interesting question ... here is what it says on one site I have:
All states permit citizen arrests if a felony crime is witnessed by the citizen carrying out the arrest, or when a citizen is asked to help apprehend a suspect by the police. The application of state laws varies widely with respect to misdemeanor crimes, breaches of the peace, and felonies not witnessed by the arresting party. In California, for example, there is no requirement that a lawful arrest be executed by a citizen (as opposed to an alien or illegal immigrant), and the citizen's arrest is referred to as a "private person arrest." Note particularly that American citizens do not have the authorities or the legal protections of the police, and are liable before both the civil law and criminal law for any violation of the rights of another.

Why are you asking here/Most bigger cities offer a class that you can take to be "volunteer law enforcement".That doesn't give you a privledge to seek out "illegals".Imagine what the reprucussions of that would be.How do you know they are illegal. Are you gonna go to every house where you think illegals stay and try to arrest them all?Why don't you stay on your reservation and enforce the tribes laws.Your not an American.

Maybe we SHOULD stand up for our rights and safety is a big one.
Actually I have seen a citizens arrest unfortunately you still have to call the police to take them away but you can detain them until police arrive. At least where I live.Check with the police dept. in your community.

Interesting you want to rid of criminal trespassers among us. What about the white man that came and practically destroyed your people and culture....You seem to be ok with that, why is that?

STFU Popeye quoter. Ignore it. I think the best way is to report them to ICE. They really do go after the employers. Funny how that is working right now. Citizens that are against slave labor have that right to call ICE.

Great point.
If your illegal...and you claim you have civil rights...then you should be subject to (civil) civilian arrest.
oh god is that so easy. But illegal.
Pancha says your not an American?? I'd run if I was her!

maybe. The law exists, but as an action, it's rarely done anymore.
