What makes you assume that we believe there is no God. Maybe the Big Bang is our God!

Holy Cow makes some great points! Science did state the world was flat and by the way the Bible stated 3,500 years ago that the world is sphere! Whats great is that the more science learns the more they support the Bible!!
If the Big Bang is true it supports Intelligent Design even further! Prior to that discovery they believed we always existed! Well if we have a beginning we are an effect of something! If we are an effect than there had to be a cause, a cause outside of our Universe that existed prior to our universe! Hey they are on to something here!!! A few problems with the Big Bang theory is where did all the matter come from??? They say we started out the size of a period on this page that was spinning real fast then exploded (were did the energy come for the explosion? They don't know!) This is were another fatal flaw comes up, with this dot spinning say clockwise and exploded and threw matter across our Universe everything in the Universe should be spinning the same way (the conservation of angular momentum )yet there are 3 planets and 8 moons spinning the opposite direction?! How can this be? It can't it is impossible!
What I find annoying and sad is that most of the Atheist's around here are spewing back wrong information that they have learned in High School and College and do not know any better!! I hope and pray that they have an open mind and can see things for what they are and not just believe the lies that have been told to them in the past!!

Yes I do find it very annoying. And if you think about it, one rule of science is that matter cannot be created out of nothing. So even if there was a "big bang" where did everything come from? God has made this world and beyond just by speaking things into existance. As humans and his servants (this goes for scientists also) there is no way we could ever fully understand God or his works, people think they know it all, and honestly, this is Gods earth as im sure you know, and he made it how he made it. If thats what they think happened, than they can search for clues their whole lives. But at least you and i know the truth right?

Actually there just happens to be more evidence to support the "Big Bang , then there is the existence of a god. When it comes to the god question I believe that there are very few scientists who will bother to answer it. The reason is that science is an attempt to explain the natural world in terms of natural laws. God, on the other hand, is a supernatural being. Supernatural beings cannot be explained in terms of natural laws, so scientists do not attempt to either explain the existence or non existence of a god.

You're confused. No self respecting scientist would deny, or affirm the existence of "God". That's not what science is about.
The scientific method revolves around what can be tested and falsified. The existence of "God" doesn't apply in any way, shape, or form.
You need to realize, "science" and scientists are not your enemy.
If scientific principals, equations, theories, discoveries, or contentions offend you, it's only because they've lead YOU to question your faith. It's not because science questions it (see paragraph 1)
Maybe your faith isn't as strong as you thought. If it was you wouldn't ask others to validate it for you.
And everyone, please keep in mind, unanswered questions do not imply an answer, but rather a need for further investigation. Remember, at one time, lots of folks believed the Earth was flat.
It was investigated further. Now we know better..........

Speaking of annoying(frustrating, vexing), have YOU noticed it's all "allegory" in both "covenants": Gal 4, written aforetime for our learning: Rom 15, with only the script-u-are of plural and contrary scriptures being what's inspired of God: 2Tim 3, that God that is in "heaven" that is "higher than the heavens" on "high"?
Or that Solomon the wise guy says it's "all" vanity and "vexation of spirit"(annoying, frustrating); the all referring to the law (containing only the created part of created/made) and the prophets (which speak both grace and law), since it adds law to "grace is sufficient"(no law req'd)?
Or that Paul The Apostle says it's law that frustrates His Grace, makes it no more grace, kinda like adding death to life makes it no more eternal life?
Or that the will of God is "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice"; and that receiving the promise comes after doing the will of God?
Or that being highminded (minding "high" things, such as the "high" priest of a dividead God on "high" in plural and divided "heavens") is among some nasty things in 2Tim 3:4?
Or that faulty finding is a blame game which inducts all players into a hall of shame, not fame; since we all are one, and there is no respect of persons with God, and a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
Or that Christ of Jesus Christ did not accuse any (John 5:45) or condemn any (John 3:17), since law imputing any sin (fault) makes sinners all (not some only) and law thereof accurses all?
Or that Christ of Jesus Christ is the end of the law, our peace (not division) who hath abolished the law(enmity); hence we are called the body of Christ (not the body of Jesus, nor the body of Jesus Christ), and only Christ is called Saviour of the world?
Or that there are no lost sheep if the 1/100 which was lost, is found?
Perhaps when you get the beam of law out of your law law eyes, then you'll be able to see better how to edify, exhort, unto comfort that is grace us and mercy full and thereby peace full, all.
The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

What was the source of Big Bang? As Scientists themselves say there is no effect without cause- then what was the cause which converted into effect which we call Big Bang? Scince is about meterial approach to life and only Spirit can explain finer things.

Do you find it strange that there is a higher occurance of atheism among more educated people? And anyways, the Big Bang theory is yesterday's news - astrophysicists like Stephen Hawking are now finding new explanations for the "beginning" of the universe.

Extremely. I can appreciate the desire to look at things objectively. However, they are saying that they are looking for hard-fact truths and saying that in order to do this one must have a prejudice that God does not exist. If one cannot take into account the possibility of God's existence, then how can they say that they are really searching for truth....instead of excuses?

I find any kind of assumptions to be annoying.
But this also works the other way around, one can not just "assume" God exists. There's no proof.
