this issue is up to some debate, arguably all wines help you out (In moderation) although the general belief is that Reds are better, because they contain more polyphenols. the more Polyphenols in the wine help inhibit blood clots. The stronger the better (IE, Cabernet Sauvignon, would be the best wine for your blood)

Althought none would be a bearing on you being cold, generally that means poor circulation either from low blood pressure or reduced pluse rate.

Never drink wine to get warm. It's only good with meals.

People get hot and cold at different times of day, even when the temperature is the same. The best solution is to wear some kind of jacket when cold.

The thought that alcohol warms you up is an old wives tale. They used to put rum in a barrel and attatch it to St bernards necks to help people suffering with hypothermia. It has been since proven that it doesn't warm you up, it just gives you a warm sensation. Red wine in moderation is good for thining your blood and preventing plaque buildup in your arteries. If you are cold all the time, have your thyroid checked. It could be that your core body temperature just isn't warm enough. Try just putting on an extra layer. It might help. God bless
