I think that's kind of wrong. I'm currently in a long distance relationship and my boyfriend has been upset because I was late getting to his house because of traffic, but never wanted to break up with me for it.
We've been together for a while and I'm moving from where I live to where he lives so that we're not so far apart. He's a great guy and I wouldn't trade him for any other in the world. I love him and I think those who don't believe long distance relationships don't work need to think that in a long distance relationship you have to work on it twice as hard. I've put my heart and soul into it and it's worth it.
I think she needs to understand the concept of your relationship.

Yes, long distance relationships don't work...I know I was in one for a year and a half...the long distance takes it's toll, move on
