There is one thing I've noticed about women, both ones I've been involved with and not. Whenever one of them left somebody who was a total jerk, whether it be that they were abusive, a cheater, deadbeat dad, or all of the above or other things, they will defend him until the end, but they over scrutinize and over analyze and hold the nice guys to a much higher standard. This is one thing I've never understood about women...can any serious responders shed some light on this??

oh yeah those are the girls that just don't get it yet.....it's only when you live and learn and actually appreciate what the good guys have to offer when you finally decide to drop that habit....i don't know why people like to be treated like crap either.....

When you love someone and they have faults, no matter what the case you want to defend them because you love them and you understand them. We date them for a reason and some people don't get to see the side that we do when we're with them. Sometimes they are the sweetest when you're alone together and a jerk in public, but that's their personality trait.
When you love someone no matter if they're an ex or present you always want to protect them from someone else whether it be with their words or actions.

My ex was a jerk and I would NEVER defend him. My boyfriend is the best guy in the world and he's the only one I'd ever defend.

Well i know any bad relationship ive been in the past with a dead beat , cheater or what have you, you dont want everyone to know how bad he really is. How does it look for you, staying with such a jerk? So eventhough you want to leave him, you dont want the world to know you took such crap for so long. But rest assured we learn from our mistakes and the next guy has to pass the test.

because they arent "women", they're little girls. There's a difference. No woman wants a man who treats her bad, only a stupid little girl does-so dont expect too much of them until they grow up. This is spoken by a Woman who loves to be treated--reeeeaaal gooooood ;)

she defends him regardless of how horrible he was to her because she doesn't want others to see what a big mistake she made but most of all,i think she's in denial and doesn't want to believe that the person whom she used to love or still love has disappointed her.

they are not defending those jerks, i think those girls are just trying to UNDERSTAND them, maybe because girls think those jerks need some more understanding than nice guys... but still those girls know that those jerks are still jerks...
