prenatal vitamins?

i have heard prenatal vitamins make your hair grow really fast? i take perfectil and bitotin vitamins and they just make my nails grow faster and my hair a little bit stronger. Do prenatal vitamins work well?

they work about the same dear. they canhelp with the strength, but i don't know about growth. They also have another pill called hair, skin, and nails. Try nioxin shampoos and conditioners( beauty supply store). They promote a heathy scalp for better growth. Good luck!

I think the vitamins really only help improve the health & strength of the hair. Your hair only grows between 1/4 & 1/2 inch per month you can't really make it grow any faster than that. If you get it trimmed regularly(every 6 to 8 weeks) & continue to take vitamins your hair's health will improve which will most likely keep it from splitting & breaking so much, so it'll be easier to grow it out.

You should also give yourself a nice massage while your shampooing your hair. The massage will stimulat your acalp which will help promote hair growth

I think it's less about the vitamins and more about the hormones involved in pregnancy. I planned my pregnancy and took prenatal vitamins before I conceived but didn't notice a difference until 6 months later after my first trimester was over.

Not actually that vitamin is meant for baby and you.
Those help with the vitamins you loose when your carring your child.
Most women loose hair after a child is born.
Id say detour those and talk to your Dr.
