Just in the defense of Boston Terriers, I have known dozens upon dozens, and have had 8 of my own. My family has had them since the 1940's. I have only known *one* that was aggressive. (She'd been a kennel dog, and hated other dogs. She was a rescue.) These dogs were bred to be companion dogs, and are very, very good at it *as a breed*. Any breeder placing an aggressive Boston in their breeding program, and producing aggressive puppies, should be strung up. (The pups should also be well socialized with children and other dogs *before* they go to their new homes.)

Go with Chetco on the training methods! All the best to you and your Bossie.

The individuals who ask you which are morons and you may also inform them I stated so! A Boston Terrier weighs among 15 and 25 kilos. An American Pit Bull Terrier weighs 30 to 60 kilos. The ears are distinctive, the nostril is distinctive, in actual fact, apart from the truth that they're each puppies, I cannot suppose of the way any one might confuse the 2!

the first thing to do is call and make an appointment to have him neutered, if he hasn't been.
]The real issue is dominance..
The Boston bull believes HE is the pack leader..So, your job is to prove that YOU are the pack leader, and that both dogs are under YOUR control, not his.

Now, this is time consuming, but will really pay off in asserting yourself as the BOSS in your own home.

Pour into a bowl what kibble you would normally feed him for the day, but put the bowl up.

Twice per day, sit down and feed him by hand...don't allow him to eat anything that you don't hand to him piece by piece..

If he acts even a little aggressive, or demanding, put the food up and try again later..
Only a few days of feeding him in this manner will really improve his manners...then you can begin putting his food down for him again....but, as soon as there is any aggression towards the Yorkie...start all over with hand feeding .

You will find that he minds you better, and he will quit trying to dominate the Yorkie.

you should be able to tell if its play or not by the yorkie's reaction. if he yelps. start correcting the terrier firmly. dont let him bully the yorkie . and dont allow ruff play. you have to be the parent and let the kids know what is not exceptable. be firm. even if you have to "pin" the terrier your self.

it is instinct to go for the throat and a sign of being the dominant one. I have a female dog that mounts every dog she meets if they wont let her she gets aggressive, just dominance
