conversations to have on the phone?

me and my B/F talk on the phone almost every night, and i have nothing to talk about with him. so we usually just sit there and both be quiet and he is the one doing all the talking, untill the conversation stops. I need somthing to talk about with him, and keep the conversation going so that he will want to talk to me more often, and stop wanting to 3-way ppl just so he can talk with someone who will actually have somthin interesting to talk about. I feel like im not being a fun enough g/f , he always seems to ask me why im so quiet on the phone and i say that I don't know why i am so quiet, but im already shy as it is. So can someone give me some interesting topics to discuss on the phone with him. (NOTHING GROSS)and also, how do I flirt ,and /or compliment him on the phone without overdoing it? I don't even know what to compliment him on, since i like everything about him but im afraid that if i compliment him too much then he will think that im overly obsessed with him.

i used to be shy like that with my boyfriend but then i found out that he HATES me being shy. so then i just started being open minded with hI'm and now we have been together for one year and five months. Even though I'm not shy around him im still shy around other people like his friends and family, so every time he takes me by them he tells me "man fo reals stop being shy and you better not be shy" he gets mad if I'm shy but yea like i said just be open minded with hI'm im pretty sure he wont think your a stalker if you just say damn baby you looked good today or i loved your outfit you was Waring just dont say to much over and over again then thats when he would think your crazy but its good to let him know how you feel so the relationship can get stronger

Gah, phone conversations are boring. Talk to him in person, it's easier.

I'm never really at my best when I'm talking to people (especially my girlfriend ._.) over the phone, I've found that if you actually interact with them or see them in person it's far easier to converse, you know?

If you have to talk to him on the phone, try discussing his life, ask how he is, what's been happening lately, what's his favorite band, show, movie, etc. Anything, really, to keep the conversation fresh.

Well converse with him, as for my self my girl doesn't speak a lot either, but you can ask insignificant questions that have no point what so ever, and if he's like "WTF"?, "where do you come up with these things" just tell him that' you don't know, but that' you like it when he speaks just to answere. So you complimented him and you asked a question, so n e thing that comes to mind like if you saw this TV show that was gross just tell him about it, you know what i mean, ok then
