I gave one of my best friends and biggest crushes to my best friend would girls consider me romantic for helping him get her or not?

Other girls might......But would probably not take it like that choose your words carefully "Gave" is not best fit for a romantic type story.(u make her sound like a trophy) Enchant the story by saying something like: Yea, I've had a crush on her for 2 years and one day my bestfriend came up to me and asked if I knew her because he had been watching her for awhile now......... So I decided it was best for me not to let him know I liked her to save our friendship and encouraged him to give her his number. See much better story line and its all still true. If a guy told me that I would definitly think romantic type.

Girls are not things to be given away! If you care about her, you'll want her to be with who SHE wants to be with. If she wants to be with your friend, and you don't stand in the way, it would be very unselfish of you. But if she wants to be with you, don't push her away just because another guy likes her.

seems completely unromantic, you crush on a girl and instead of going for her yourself you give her to your best friend?
