If the world comes to the point of planetary suicide wouldn't that bring jesus back?

If this is the position of most Christians wouldn't you be the one rooting for wrld war 3 ? I mean IF it hastens the return of god wouldn't Christians be the big supporters of nuclear war?

I do not believe in jesus but I can see how the belief in him affects world politics and it frankly scares me that some Christians might want to try to commit global suicide in the belief god is coming back.

Hw does this affect your thinking and perception of war?

Is world war a good thing - will it bring world peace are you secretly hoping it will all "blow -up " s god can take over ....does this affect how "christian" leaders think?

If you don't believe in what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the cross for you then when you die you will go to hell and you will have sent yourself there not God. The Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins, He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again for your justification. Can there be world war 3, yes but it will be nothing like the torment of hell. Mark 9: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Wow thanks for the fear mongering I miss that about church when we'd be told about the loving god so capable of detailing horrid suffering if you don't believe.

I'd miss the spoon fed terror of your loving god if it weren't for you good people to give it to me.

Good perspective, good question.
But I think Christians are generally supposed to be God-fearing, so I wouldn't think that they would deliberately try to speed up the inevitable; it is fate.

For starters you are looking at this backwards. The people who we are "tracking" down and killing are evil and look to destroy our way of life... atheists included.
I really hate to tell you but people who have blackened hearts and desire for war are not on the side of God but quite the contrary. I don't believe any good christian wants WW3 but I do believe that anyone with a single shred of decency can understand that in order to survive one must defend themselves.

well, as a Christian, I can say this-the end of the world will happen just as it is written...God only knows the day, the time, and the details. We must be ready.
I do not look forward to WW3, but I look forward to what follows....my Lord's return.

In Matthew 24:36-37 Jesus in speaking on the subject of the tip of time mentioned: "no person is conscious approximately that day or hour, no longer even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, yet purely the father. because it exchange into in the days of Noah, so this is going to likely be on the advent of the Son of guy. So for Jesse to be responsive to that the tip is coming presumes he's conscious extra suitable than Christ. this is a undeniable sign that somebody is off track. The Jehovah's Witnesses had egg on their faces numerous cases in the time of the 20 th century whilst they declared dates the worldwide could end. i do no longer decide Jesse Woodson yet once you look at his web site he has purely one conversing engagement listed. His perspectives are no longer in many cases common with the aid of Christians. consequently, it may be misguided to hyperlink his perspectives with those of mainline Christians.

Wow. First of all, we are mandated to love our enemies and our neighbor as we love ourselves. So no, the prospect of innocent lives being slaughtered in a massive global war is not something I look forward to. The return of Christ as King is a positive thought though....Peace be with you.

I'm a Christian and i'd struggle to prevent WW3 at ALL COSTS. Millions, maybe billions, dead. I wouldn't allow it. Every life is irreplaceable.

If there was anyway to stop WW3 then I would but I can't... no one can
All I want is to be with God for eternity I don't want for thousands of people to die...
Is that my fault?
