My sister is highly disorganized and refuses to actually look for things she misplaces because it's more convenient for her to just take my stuff. I don't mind her borrowing, but it bugs me when my stuff becomes her lost items. I've tried buying replicas of my things for her to deter her, but to no avail. She's easily irritated, so it's probable that confronting her about it will result in her screaming at me. I don't know what to do to get her to stop taking my things!

She's two years older than me, (16 & 18) even though I'm the more mature of the two.

Beat her good with a stick and she will learn. She will appreciate your kindness later in life.

If you don't want her to take your stuff and lose them, buy her several inexpensive things and let her take these instead. Your sister will like you a lot. You will be viewed as a caring older sibling. Your sister will remeber this, and as she grows up, you will be her favourite older sibling ;)

Also, try to play with your sister. Have fun games like having a scavenger hunt. If it is part of a game, she will be active in looking for lost items.
