I'm doing exercises, yoga, and light hand-held weights for about 30 - 45 minutes daily, plus about 60 minutes of cardio. When should I notice a difference in muscle tone?

6-8 weeks. If you are lifting weights, you will build muscle and fat will burn. Well, you have to do more than hand held weights.
If that is all you have, than you need to do squats, crunches, etc.., with them in order to reshape your body and lose the weight.
The cardio is great!
Don't give up, you'll see results soon.
Depends on height and weight also.

Most people don not and think they are eating healthier but are adding to the calorie count by a bigger portion or light products in a much bigger portion.

But the amount and duration of your exercising is downright dedicated. Be careful and don't burn yourself out - you want to make this a lifestyle, not a fad. You'll start really noticing in diff. areas in about 3 weeks. I began noticing very small things after about a week and half. But its been about 3-4 weeks now and even when I'm sitting on the yoga mat I can look down at my smaller legs and say.."wow, you go girl". lol
