Baptism doesn't get you to heaven...only if you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, then and only then will you go to heaven. Do you know Jesus? IM me sometime....I would love to help!! Baptism is simply recognizing with Christ that you have died to sin and are alive to new life, and it's an outward profession before others that you know Christ as your Savior. Baptism always FOLLOWS Salvation, never comes before it.

In Christ,
Sabrina

You will go to Hell. Read Acts 2:38 and do as it says. Acts 4: 12 also tells us that there is no other name given under Heaven whereby men can be saved.

I can't recall the exact scripture, but Jesus himself said that you must be born of the water and of the spirit in order to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. He himself was baptized by John in the Jordan River, and as he came up out of the water the Holy Ghost (Spirit) came and decended on him in the form of a dove.

My pastor was just teaching on this very subject tonight on the radio.

The same thing that would happen had you been baptized. You'd still be dead, so don't worry about that. Be nice to people and live a good life, and you won't feel a need to live in fear of not having taken part in some silly ritual.

Ok baptizing doesn't save you from Hell anyway. Being saved, allowing Jesus Christ in your life and repenting of sin is being saved from Hell. Being baptized is a symbole of your dedication to Christ to others. The bible says once you are saved to get baptized. If you are saved I would get baptized. I can't answer definately if you will go to Hell if you don't, but why wouldn't you want others to know your rebirth?

Baptism is only a public profession of your faith in Jesus...if you are truly saved, then you will want to be baptized, but if you are indeed saved, and not baptized, then you will still go to heaven

You can be baptized at any time. It is a public declaration of your acceptance of Jesus Christ. However, if you have accepted Jesus into your heart and never get baptized, you are still saved.

You have to get an understanding of what it means to be baptized. It is an outward act of obedience to God. If you don't have that in your heart or if you are just beginning to wonder what it is to be obedient to Christ start attending a bible believing, spirit filled church and find out the truth.

It is not about being baptized or not...It depends on your religion but if I am assuming properly and ur christian then most theologists would (urge u to get baptized first ) but if u are beyond that point and about to die then you can give your soul to god and ask for forgiveness from your sins....you will then either go thru purgotory (catholic) or go to God (protestant Christian)

Your question starts with a basic assumption: that baptism (a Christian ritual) is largely real. earlier anybody can assert that baptism is mandatory they might desire to establish here: The Christian church is real; the recent testomony is precise; Jesus is nice. till those are everyday no you may say baptism is mandatory, or you have hundreds of thousands, billions of folk in hell for not being baptized. And that, via the way is the only different determination: no baptism = exclusion from heaven, ergo, hell. Baptism is mandatory as an preliminary step in a Christian's faith adventure. yet i don't think people who lived pre-Christ or without wisdom of Christ and the church are unavoidably excluded from "the dominion" (in spite of the incontrovertible fact that one chooses to stipulate that). all and sundry are "made in the image and likeness of God", subsequently with or without baptism a soul has a organic tendency in the direction of its maker, and the maker in the direction of its creation. in the top then, baptism is one among countless techniques one might hire to comprehend God. in my opinion, i'm a Christian and that i think in Jesus's message. yet whilst that message is used as a manner of controlling people or instilling concern then its risky and injury can not bring about excitement now or in eternity.

Don't know. I'm pretty sure you can still get baptized in your religion though.
