a babys ears?? not going to have it done but yourself?

i got my daughter's ears pierced the second week she was home she was 3 months old then (she was 3 months premature) the only reason she cried is because we had to take her bottle away from her for the tech to do the piercing as soon as it was done and she got her bottle back she was good and smiling again i then got her ears don a second time for her first birthday she did fine for that i was going to have my son's ear pierced but his dad said no which i told him he was a hypocirt for having his done and not his son's now that i am with a new guy i and him share same opinions

Never had it done myself as a baby but I had my 2 daughters their eye pierced young as 6 months. Bad idea! The earrings were so small that eventually buried under the skin and caused infection on both of them. I recommended to wait 3 or 4yrs old.

As for myself no I wouldn't peirce my daughters ears she is 2 now and that is a subject her father and I have both agreed we would wait for her to make that choice when she is old enough to decide I can't see putting holes in someones ears what if she doesn't like to wear ear rings. That will be something she can do when she can tell us and keep them clean herself.

My mom had my ears pierced when i was a baby and just barely born.
But a nurse did it and a baby can get serious side effects if it isn´t done properly. Plus an infection can cause you and your baby more grief plus it can also become more of an expense than if you went to get it done.

I had mine done when I was a month old ...I was going to get theirs done the same time, but just never got around to doing it....Now since they are 4 and 2 I would just rather wait until they tell me they want them done!!

yes i did pierced my daughter ears,i made sure that she had all the appropriate shots before hand,she did very well and healed up very nice.

i got my babygirls ears done when she was 6 months..and right after we did that, we took her for her 6 month pictures...thats how bad it hurt.

You should wait until your baby is old enough to decide for herself.
