While you do not lose any of your medals, you will not be able to wear all of them. When you transfer you will give them a list of all medals and awards you have, they will let you know which ones you can wear and will get points for in the military. Usually it is awards like actual medals, it is usually the ribbons that you don't get to wear. But remeber taht just cause you don't get to wear them does not mean that they are not yours, you did earn them. Also you should know that since you are in the Army now, all Air Force Medals will follow the Army medals of the same.

Some do, Some do not.

Federally recognized medals / ribbons will transfer. Reservist / State medals probably not, but if you are Active Air Force, this is not your issue.

I kept federal awards moving from Marine Corps to Army.

No...most won't cross over, but there are some exceptions. Talk to your re-up NCO....he has the info.
