~Try showing the bruises to a teacher or other mandated reported. There is a number for the abuse hot-line in your phone book. Make the call or continue to suffer.

You need to get some help. That is called child abuse. Hitting you with things like that is beyond the normal lines of discipline.

I would suggest talking to an adult that you can confide in, maybe a neighbor or a counselor. Do not be afraid.
Your mother needs help. She needs a lot of help.
You do too.
Whether you know it or not it is hurting you not only physically but mentally
You need to help your mother and yourself You don't want it to get any worse than it already is.

Your title mentions abusive parents. Is it just your mom? It sounds like your mom has an anger management problem. How old are you? If you are over 18, I suggest you either talk it over with her or move out. If you are under 18, I suggest you either talk it out or talk to another adult you trust. You need to get away from all that. It just isn't healthy.

Your mom needs help. She's out of control. Talk to your school principal or your favorite teacher about this. You shouldn't have to live in fear. Get some help. Good luck to you. You have many people here concerned about you.

I think that you should talk to some other family members about it and she might not have to go through something that drastic like calling child protection her family might be able to help in some other way.
