I go to this local bar and they make the greatest martini, a cherry coke martini. I have never seen it anywhere else and the bartender won't tell me how to make it (I guess to keep me coming back and spending money). Has anyone had one and/or knows how to make it?

Sounds good! I couldn't find a specific 'cherry coke martini', but this website: http://www.drinksmixer.com/drink11364.html which has a ton of recipes including cherry coke, if you go to this page make sure you go to the right hand side of the page it has a bunch more than whats on the first screen. I would use cherry vodka. Effen is one brand. If you cannot find it, use regular vodka, a splash of grenadine, shake it good, drain into martini glass, and top it off with Coke.

martinis usually have no soda in it, but i would guess a cherry liquor with light coca cola spray
