There can be a ton of reasons that the dog is acting this way. Because you are unable to get her to the vet tonight, for reasons beyond your control, here are some things to check at home to see if she is doing ok.
1) check her gum color. It should be bubble gum pink, unless she has black pigment. Pink gums can tell you that at least she has adequate oxygen, and that her circulation is ok.
2) take her temperature rectally. it should be between 101 and 103. If it is higher, then you can be concerned.
3) make sure that she is responsive to the normal things that excite her, like food, walk, etc. If she seems to be dull, or not responsive, then she needs to be checked right away.
For tonight, just TLC and close monitoring to make sure that she is comfortable. And if she is still not normal in the morning, get her to the vet.
Good luck, and I hope she is doing fine.

Since you have use of the computer, do a research in your area on Google. e.g. emergency vets + (your zip code). Something is bound to pop up.
She is making a weired noise, she might have swallowed something that could be stuck in her throat. Try and open her mouth and have a look, if you dont see anything, with your 2 fingers, rub gently up and down her throat area and feel for anything.
If nothing is found, opbserve her for the night and take her in the morning. If it worsens, take her to the vet immediately!
She might have an allergic reaction to the new food or might picked up a fever. Anything is possible.
Good luck and always be safe than sorry!

Shaking and panting are common signs of pain and discomfort in small breeds. Is the weird noise like a whine or a wheezing(does happen with every breath)? What kind of treats were they? Anything she is not use to eating, especially treats high in fat or people food, can cause pancreatitis, which is like a really bad belly ache. Try to keep her quiet. If she is vomiting, remove all food and water until the morning. If not, offer only small amounts of water at a time. You should try to get her to the vet in the morning if she is still not acting right.

even if it is the new dog treats, it would mean your dog is reating to something in them which they should not. no matter where you live, there are 27/7 vet hospitals. panting is from being hot as they have no sweat glands. shivering is not normal unless its 20 below. check your yellow pages and under vets you will find a 24 hour cet or one that has on call vets.

Well, yeah, she needs to go to the vet. Check online and in the phone book to see if you can find any 24-hour emergency vets. Also, try calling your regular vet - sometimes their "not open now" tape will give a phone number to call for emergencies.
If you can't, just try to make her comfortable. There isn't much you can do on your own.

Shivering and panting can be a sign of shock. Dont want to worry you, but you need to be keeping a very close eye. Are the paws cold? I think you need to get to a vet asap.

You need to tell us if it is hot where you live, and when the dog began this, and what breed she is.
