Sometimes dreams tell us or answers our problem. It help us resolve whatever things we need to deal with during our waking hours. Sometimes, dreams is a sign or somewhat has a hidden meaning into it. If it occur very often or every day then I guess your mom is thinking of something that or trying to decide on some project. I believe having a baby in a dream means a start or another chapter in your life or your moms life is about to start.

I wouldn't look too much into it..are you pregnant? If you are, it probably just means that your mother either thinks or wishes for you to have a girl. Or maybe or not pregnant but suspects, fears, or wants you to be pregnant. I mean there some truth to dreams sometimes but I think the dreamer would truly know deep down what the dream is all about. Sometimes I think dreams can be a reflection of a person's subconscious, but again I wouldn't rely on it 100%.

Well, there are many schools of thought in dealing with the question of what dreams actaully are. One mode of thought is the classic Fruedian approach which sees dreams as an extension of the subconscious. In order to explain this better, I will refrence that that Freud believed in three selved the id, the ego and the superego. These so called selved are in constant conflict over each other in the domination of the the Self. The superego is the place where Freud believes dreams orignated, its is our desires our needs influenced by various factors. A Freudian response to your question would be something like this, " Your mothers dream reflects her overwhelming desire for you to have baby, to procreate, to pass on her own knowledge which she gave to you to your own child, who will be a girl." Its this idea that she is scared of her own mortality in that if you have a baby girl then somehow she will never die since you pass on her legacy. The other modes of thought in dealing with dreams are ones that involve looking for sublte signs and there are hurndred of intrepretatinions from this respect. Now their also beliefs that dreams can sometimes be premonitions of the future. I myself don't believe in that, but you are welcome to believe in it. I do howver find the Egyptian and Tibetan view on dreams to be quite intresting, it has a more spritual context, which is somewhat complicated to get into.

YES I DO!! For several reasons. There have many many times I have dreamed about something and watched it happen the next day, I also believe in symbolism in dreams and that one thing that happened in a dream may stand for something else in life. As far as your mom's dream goes, I don't know.........good luck though!

I think that something is impressing her to have this on her mind, it doesn't necessarily mean this will happen, something probably happened to her during the day and it was carried over into her subconscious.
