For some reason society seems to accept in other ethnicity's what they are not willing to accept in blacks. Many think a black woman with big lips, hip and behind is ugly. Put those same things of a woman of different ethnic back ground and somehow she becomes beautiful. I think in a way it's a way of saying black women are somehow sub par when it comes to beauty.

Because the media portrayes black women as very sexual creatures. I mean...watch BET or MTV. Its the curves that make them so appealing. And sadly, but truly many white women do not have curves. Now do not get me wrong, sometimes its the other way around.

that was a good question because i was just asking an older cousin about that the other day and my opinion on it was they look at us as african americans whose always having babies walking around looking all crazy with they good gracious hanging out and we wont succeed then they right behind us [trying] or doing the same thing. they should know they can't be like us and they have to know that we have feelings too!

Wow! I always thought black women were always trying to obtain white female characteristics, not the other way around. 90% of black women use painful chemicals to straighten their hair or wear wigs or weaves to get the hair texture of caucasian/asian/latino hair (not like .0001% of white women who get collegen in their lips). In addition many black women dye their already artificially straightened/weaved hair blonde or red and wear blue/green/hazel contact lenses in addition to wearing heavy beigh foundation many shades too light for their skin to appear lighter (such as Beyonce, Mary J. Blige). In addition, many use harmful bleaching creams-not a natural reaction to the sun's rays-to artificially lighten their skin which is an epidemic in Africa and the Caribbean. Furthermore, many use makeup to "caucasianize" their facial features such as Beyonce who places a white strip of makeup on the bridge of her nose and dark makeup on the sides to give the illusion of a narrower "more caucasian" nose if not getting plastic surgery to narrow their noses like Janet Jackson, Lil' Kim, etc. Finally, 100% white women like Charlize Theron, Catheran Zeta Jones, Anna Kournikova, Claudia Schiffer, etc. are what white women desire to look like and asian women desire to look like 100% asian Lucy Liu and Zhang Ziyi and Jennifer Lopez and Eva Mendes round out the 100% latino women, while black women that are shown are all 50% white/asian/latino like Halle Berry, Alicia Keys, Amerie, Claudette Ortiz, Christina Milian, Leila Arcieri, Salli Richardson, Michael Michelle, Jennifer Beals, Gloria Rueben, Thandi Newton, Lisa Bonet, Jennifer Freeman, and Mariah Carey.
