No. It does have the added benefit of binding with oxalates which are usually high content in tea...and that is a good thing.

Caffeine can strip your body of some vitamins. But the caffeine in tea is too little to affect you. It would become an issue if you drank four cups of coffee a day or ten cups of tea with very little milk in them. Tea has anti-oxydants too, that's good for you.
