First of all, you need to find a different shop. The first thing they should have done was test for leaks and purge / bleed the system. The second thing they should have done was remove and inspect the master cylinder. Your mechanic used you to finance a boat payment. As you may know, brake fluid is not supposed to be compressible, but air most definitely is. If you're having to pump the brakes, that means you have air going into the system from somewhere, and the most likely culprit is a bad seal in the master cylinder.

Oil the discs/drums. Carry an anchor for stopping (it"ll make more of a grinding noise). Oh, you may notice the occasional "crashing" noise coming from the front of the car, though that will decrease with time.

first off I'm a Chevy guy and i would tell you to burn that vehicle and get a Monte Carlo..lol but if the brakes are brand new they prob. just need a little wear and tear. if the problem still cont. i would take it in and have it looked at. the last thing you would want is to replace a set of drums because your brakes were screwy. good luck

Most part stores carry a product called "Stop Squeak" it's a lubricant that you smear on the rotors and break pads it stops the squeak and does not effect the stopping power.

cheap brake pads, might need to machine rotors or drums. If you can stand the noise it may go away after about a month.

Get anti-squeal for brakes. You should be able to spray it on. It is probably the brake dust from the new brakes.

It should wear off in time. If the pads are really new, that's NORMAL. Just give them time to "wear in"
