Hair becomes shinier and more manageable.
How the Conair Ionic Speed Styler Helps to Dry Your Hair Faster:
The new high-torque motor in this dryer speeds up the velocity of the air moving through the dryer and into your hair.
In most dryers, airflow velocity is between 40-46mpg (tested on eight competitive and Conair dryers).
The Sonicare Speed Styler moves the air at a much faster speed: 56mph.
The faster the air gets into your hair, the faster you can get done drying and styling!
The innovative variable air inlet allows you to vary the amount of air that flows through the dryer, and helps to vary the temperature to prevent overheating, giving you full styling control.

* How to Have Straight Soft Thick Shiny Hair Guaranteed! *
I personally have medium ringlet-curly hair, I do this for myself and I have tried this on some of the most UNRULY hair I've ever seen, and it works each time. It does take time, however, about 45 minutes, but if the titled result is what you want, it's worth it.
Steps
Start with a shampoo AND conditioner for you. I don't care what product it is, 2-in-1's are never good. If you have thick, curly, oily hair like mine, use Aussie's root cleaner and tip mender. If you have fine hair, use a volumizer. Remember, good hair-do's start with good washings AND conditionings.
Put a towel on your head like a turban and leave for about 15 minutes.
Take a brush that's round, has a metal face with plastic bristles, and has holes for air to flow through, and brush out your hair straight.
I suggest an ionized hair dryer for faster results, but any hair dryer will work. Depending on your hair type and length will determine how long hairdrying will take.
When you blow-dry your hair, start with your writing hand's side. You don't have to put a layer of your hair up, just start with the first section, about 4 inches or 6 centimeters into the body. Take the brush on the outside top of your hair and blow dry straight down going SLOWLY. If you see smoke, it's not smoke, it's steam from your hair, however if it smells like burnt hair, GO QUICKER! You're burning your hair! The steam should smell like your shampoo!
Next, go underneath at the top and keep the blowdryer on the outside of your hair. Blow-dry straight down. Do this for each section of your hair until it's dry, but still nice. Don't overdry your hair!
Once your hair is pretty dry, take out a BIG curling iron, the little ones make your hair curly. We don't want curly, we want straight. Take about 4 inches of hair and from the top make the curling iron go down slowly. Again, don't burn your hair or yourself. This part is just to get the rest of your hair nice and straight.
When you reach the bottom, roll out or in. If you want your hair to curl out a bit at the ends, have the handle touching your thumb. If you want it to curl inward, the handle should be touching your index finger. If you want stick-straight, then get a reliable, quality (Not cheap!) straightening iron.
Hold there for 30 seconds WITHOUT hair spray. You want bouncy hair, not stiff. Do this for each section until you get desired results.
Finish off the style with a nickel sized amount of anti-frizz serum(Not creams because it will make your hair look oily).
Test your hair for softness, and bounce-ability. If it's not what you thought it'd be.
Tips
If your hair is fragile, use a low setting on the iron. If it's thick and unruly, make the heat almost the hottest it can be.
Warnings
Do not overdry your hair or burn your hair. This severely damages it. I have hair that goes to my shoulders and it should take me about 6 seconds for going underneathe, and 6 seconds for oustide the hair.
Be careful with the hairdryer and curling/straightening iron!! Do not do this in the shower or bath (duh) and don't burn yourself. Stay about 2-3 inches away from your scalp.
Things You'll Need
Ionized hair dryer
Big round brush with plastic bristles and a metal face with holes so that the air can flow through
Big curling iron or a quality straightening iron.
Shampoo and conditioner that's for your specific hair needs.
Anti-frizz serum, like John Freida's Fizz-ease or cheaper. Do not get the creams.
* How to Tame Frizzy Hair Quickly *
Here's how to deal with frizzy hair.
Steps
Wash your hair, and make sure to use a conditioner. Conditioners and shampoos made for frizzy hair don't seem to work that much better than regular shampoos.
Applying a leave in conditioner will often help tame your frizz, without weighing it down too much or leaving it feeling greasy. Some suggested leave in conditioners: Aveda Brilliant Damage Control or Aussie Hair Insurance. Similar, and often cheaper products, are sprays made to control synthetic or natural extension or braids. Some examples are Control Wing 3 in OneFormula, or Mane 'n Tail Braid Sheen Spray. Evenly distribute through hair.
Apply a styling product, depending what you want to do with your hair. If you want to air dry your hair, then a light gel, mousse, or pomade will work. Don't use too much - too much gel leaves your hair stiff, too much mousse leaves your hair dry and crunchy, and too much pomade leaves your hair oily. A great product for air drying your hair is Aveda Brilliant Pomades- they come with a humectant for letting your hair dry curly, or anti-humectant if you want your hair to hang straight. Aveda Phomollient styling foam is good for letting your hair dry curly as well (its a mousse), but only if your hair is not very dry.
If you're going to blow dry your hair and you want it curly, use a diffuser on the end of your blowdryer. Flip your head over and scruch your hair, but not too much. Dry until your hair is almost dry, and then let air dry the last bit. This prevents frizziness. Use a mousse or pomade for this.
If you want to blow dry your hair and you want it straight, use a product that helps with this - Avedea Brilliant Anti-Humectant Pomade is a good one for this. Use a big round brush and blow dry your hair in sections, following the brush down through your hair. Don't use a diffuser attachement on your hair dryer for this. If you have frizzy hair, this usually makes your hair even more frizzy, so its best to always follow up by flat ironing your hair, and then locking it in with a spray shine. No need to buy the expensive spray shines; the cheap ones for ethnic hair that come in the huge bottles are just as effective as the expensive brands.
If you'd like to style your hair, it's best to use a product that give you a little hold. A styling lotion is great for this, because it give you light hold without making your hair stiff or dry. Two great ones: Aveda Brilliant Universal Styling Creme, and (aweseome for hot rollers) Isoplus Hot Hot Hot Curler Roller Set Lotion. You could also use a light gel spray for this step as well. Curl your hair in any way you like - if you are using hot rollers wait for them to cool before removing so that the curls will set. Sometimes, when just curling the ends of your hair, you may want to flat iron the top part of your hair to completely remove any frizz from the sections not curled. When finished, set with a hair spray or spray gel.
Tips
If you're in a hurry and don't have time to do anything to your hair after the shower, you can often let your hair partially air dry, and then put it up in a bun. After an hour or two your hair will be mostly dry, and will have dried into some fairly frizz free waves.
If you are shopping in a store that has tester bottles of lotion and notice your hair is frizzy, get a squirt of the tester lotion and apply it to your hands and hair.
If you have gel, but you're in a hurry and have a minimum of 30 minutes in the car: Use gel in your hair and if you want, scrunch or squeeze your hair with your towel (a teeshirt works as well).
If you have some time to lounge around, a great way to air dry your hair is to lay with your head over the edge of a bed- that way it allows air to reach all layers of your hair evenly.
Its a good idea to deep condition your hair at least once a week- a lot of frizz comes from damage to your hair.
Find a good hairdresser than understands your hair. He or she can help you find a haircut that will flatter your face, and help to tame frizz. Remember to be realistic, however, dont get a haircut that requires a lot of maintence if you like to throw your hair in a ponytail most of the time.
If you're completely out of product, you can use a little bit of your conditioner as a leave in conditioner to help you tame your hair. Don't do this too often though, it will eventually leave your hair with a "film" that weights is down and makes it dull.
Some good gels are Aveda Phomollient, which is a styling foam that many people like, L'Oreal Crystal Wax, which is a gel that hardens on hair, which some people don't like, and Herbal Essences carries lots of good gels.
Warnings
Don't use too much product - it will leave your hair looking oily or wet.
Make sure you evenly distribute any product you use - otherwise you could end up with patches that vary from oily to frizzy. A good way to do this is to always apply product to wet hair when possible - then roll your hair between your hands to evenly distribute, and then finally comb through.
some products that don't work very well for some: Alberta VO5 Smoothing Souffle, Pro Vitamin Intensives Curl Therapy, and Loreal Vive Smooth Intense Anti -Frizz Serum.
Things You'll Need
Hair Dryer with diffuser
leave in conditioner
Styling lotion, pomade, mouse, or light gel
Spray shine
Hair Spray
